Meet The Team

Dr. Kimera Moodley
Co- Founder and Managing Director
Dr. Kimera Moodley is an accomplished academic and quality assurance specialist with extensive experience in higher education and occupational training. She is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Ontech Solutions, where she leads curriculum design, qualification development, accreditation consulting, LMS development, and the facilitation of professional and skills-based training programmes across diverse sectors.
Dr. Moodley serves as a board member of the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) and has designed multiple QCTO-aligned qualifications, skills programmes for SETAs, as well as programmes, modules, and short courses for higher education institutions. She has expertise in assessment standard development, policy formulation, educational technology, and post-school education and training research. She is also a Research Associate at Nelson Mandela University.
Her academic leadership includes roles at the Council on Higher Education, where she oversaw accreditation of higher education programmes, and at the University of Pretoria, where she contributed to the design and development of fully online learning programmes. She is an active researcher in online learning and educational technology, with multiple publications and conference presentations. Dr. Moodley holds a PhD in Computer Integrated Education.
